“Let’s go to the beach, beach - let’s go get away. Have a drink, drink - what they gonna say!”
Today we woke up early and took the bus to Nice! It’s definitely a vacation spot for the wealthy, so it was cool to see private jets and yachts everywhere.
Again, we found rocks instead of sand on the beach, so I laid my towel down on top of the biggest rocks! The experienced locals brought padded mats to lay on, but I eventually got used to my thin towel.
It felt so nice to lay still for a few hours in the sun—it truly felt like vacation.
Eventually, I was convinced to go parasailing over the Mediterranean Sea. Kevin and I did it together and had such a blast! We were screaming and loving the view we had of the dark blue sea, the mountains, and so much more. My favorite part was dipping into the sea for a few seconds and then going back up in the air—it was exhilarating!
I could go into detail about how terribly disappointing Monaco and Monte Carlo Casino were, but I won’t because I’m tired. In the end, I bought two great dresses for the occasion, had a delicious meal with the best shrimp and lobster bisque of my life, and got to see how the rich and famous live for a little.
But if you want my advice, Atlantic City and Vegas know how to have a lot more fun than Monte Carlo.
