Blog: Cooking with krij

If you're thinking "who is Krij," it's me! It was my college nickname and rhymes with fridge. A funny story for when we become friends.

Seven Layer Mexican Dip

October 4, 2015

Weโ€™re having a potluck dinner at my apartment tonight, and this dish takes no more than 15 minutes to prepare!

Itโ€™s always a crowd favorite so make sure you have enough tortilla chips! Scoops for the win.

Seven Layer Mexican Dip

Get the Goods

  • 1 - 16oz can of refriend beans
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 2 - 8oz packages of fresh guacomole
  • 1 - 8oz light sour cream
  • 1 cup of fresh salsa
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • Diced green onions
  • Tortilla chips

Just a Few Steps

1. In a small bowl, mix refriend beans and taco seasoning and place in 8x8 baking dish.

2. Continue layering the following ingredients: guacomole, sour cream, salsa, cheese and diced onions.

3. Wrap in saran wrap and let chill in refridgerator for 2 hours before serving.

Thatโ€™s it! So delicious you could probably finish it by yourself. How did yours come out? Let me know in the comments using #CookingWithKrij.
